Missing Grandpa Marve

Last week we went to St. George for the funeral of my dear Grandpa Jenkins. What a bitter sweet time it was. Every child, grandchild and great-grandchild was able to be at the funeral. We laughed and cried as we rememberred our Grandpa. The funeral service was a great tribute to the life he lived and the example he set for all of us. Although he could be awnry at times he was a great man and had great qualities that I hope to emulate. I have been so blessed to have known all of my grandparents. My two sweet grandmothers are still alive. I am grateful I have more time to spend with them. They are truly angels here on earth. I love them dearly and am honored to be a part of their posterity. Dan and I are also thrilled to announce we will be adding one more to their posterity in April.

Isn't it interesting how funerals bring families together. It always becomes a great reminder of appreciating what and who we have, as we dwell on the passing of a loved one and what a wonderful life they had.

Congratulations on the new addition, you have such cute kids so I'm sure the next one will be just as adorable.

I was sorry to hear about the death of your grandpa. It is always hard because we have our hearts tied to them. Kris got word this morning that his grandma has been moved to a nursing home and that her health is deteriorating quickly. How blessed we are with knowledge of the plan of our father.
And a BIG Congrats on your new addition! YOu are one of the most AMAZING moms I know!!
Love ya

Hi Garnders!!!

Congrats on soon to being 7. That is wonderful. You have definitely added a few as well. We are living in OKC now. It is pretty nice. It was really hard for us to leave MS, but sometimes the Lord has other plans. Let's keep in touch.
